About US
The Ojai Valley Democratic Club is the local Democratic Party organization serving the interests of the citizens of the entire Ojai Valley which includes upper Ojai, the East End, the City of Ojai, Meiners Oaks, Mira Monte, Oak View, Casitas Springs as well as all surrounding unincorporated areas. We are dedicated to the betterment of the Ojai Valley, Democratic ideals, and creating a venue for like-minded people to come together.
When the Ojai Valley Democratic Club adopted a constitution on March 20, 1989 it consisted of 12 members. It grew steadily for the next decade to about fifty members. With the opening of the Ojai Obama Center in September and with over two thirds of the City of Ojai voting for Obama & Biden, membership and activism in the Ojai Democratic Club has increased tremendously. A true grass roots organization has been formed with new working groups created to ensure that change will occur.We encourage you to help and volunteer in any of the working groups. Just contact the group leader. Or if you have a particular skill or interest but can’t find a group and want to start one of your own, just let us Contact us .
