The Ojai Valley Democratic Club is the local democratic party organization serving the interests of Democratic Party members in the City of Ojai, villages of Mira Monte and Oak View, and the surrounding unincorporated areas. We are dedicated to the betterment of the Ojai Valley, Democratic ideals, and creating a venue for like-minded people to come together. When the Ojai Valley Democratic Club adopted a constitution on March 20, 1989 it consisted of 12 members. It grew steadily for the next decade to about fifty members. During 2004, membership more than doubled - President George Bush has been our best recruiter! The meeting will be facilitated by Dorothy Wallstein , with the theme: "How can we build on the momentum of the Obama campaign to keep people excited and actively pushing and modeling progressive change?" Coffee and refreshments will be served. Please be on time as we only have two hours to plan building " a truly effective and progressive community in the Ojai Valley".
